Refreshing and easy Mango Agua Fresca, perfect for a hot day! Combines ripe mangoes, water, lime juice, and a touch of sweetness for a naturally delicious and hydrating beverage.

- 3 ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 cups cold water, plus more to adjust consistency
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice, freshly squeezed
- Pinch of salt
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Optional garnishes: mint sprigs, lime wedges, mango slices
Instructions
- Prepare Mango Base: Peel and cube the mangoes. Add the mangoes, cold water, sugar, lime juice, and salt to a blender.
- Blend and Strain: Blend on high speed until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve for a smoother texture (optional).
- Adjust Consistency and Flavor: Check the consistency and add more water if needed. Adjust the flavor with more lime juice or sugar to taste.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve and Garnish: Stir well before serving. Fill glasses with ice, pour the agua fresca over the ice, and garnish with mint, lime, or mango slices.
