- 400 g Tofu
- 1/2 cup Pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup Bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix together the sweet and sour sauce ingredients.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu cubes until golden brown.
- Add chopped vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the tofu and vegetables.
- Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Tofu should be pressed to remove excess moisture for better texture.
- Adjust the sweetness and sourness to your taste by varying the sugar and vinegar amounts.
- For a spicier kick, add chili flakes or fresh chili peppers.
