Ingredients

  • 400 g Tofu
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup Bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sweet and sour sauce ingredients.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu cubes until golden brown.
  4. Add chopped vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  5. Pour the sweet and sour sauce over the tofu and vegetables.
  6. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

  • Tofu should be pressed to remove excess moisture for better texture.
  • Adjust the sweetness and sourness to your taste by varying the sugar and vinegar amounts.
