Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh mango, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
- 1/2 cup agave syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup tequila (preferably silver)
- 1/2 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Salt or sugar for rimming glasses (optional)
- Fresh strawberries and lime wedges for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold water. Hull them by removing the green tops and slice them into halves or quarters.
- Cut the mango in half, avoiding the pit. Score the flesh in a grid pattern and scoop it out with a spoon. Dice the mango into small pieces.
- In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and diced mango.
- Add the fresh lime juice to the blender.
- Pour in the agave syrup, adjusting the sweetness to your liking.
- Add the tequila and orange liqueur.
- Toss in the ice cubes and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass.
- Spread salt or sugar on a small plate and dip the rim of each glass into it.
- Give the blender a quick stir to ensure everything is well mixed.
- Pour the margarita mix into the prepared glasses, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Garnish each margarita with a fresh strawberry and a lime wedge.
- Add a sprig of mint or a slice of lime on top for extra flair.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the margaritas by varying the amount of agave syrup.
- For a thicker margarita, add more ice before blending.
