Enjoy a refreshing blend of strawberries and mango in these vibrant margaritas, perfect for any occasion. With a delightful balance of sweetness and tartness, they are sure to impress your guests or elevate a quiet evening at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 45 limes)
  • 1/2 cup agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup tequila (preferably silver)
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • Salt or sugar for rimming glasses (optional)
  • Fresh strawberries and lime wedges for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold water. Hull them by removing the green tops and slice them into halves or quarters.
  2. Cut the mango in half, avoiding the pit. Score the flesh in a grid pattern and scoop it out with a spoon. Dice the mango into small pieces.
  3. In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and diced mango.
  4. Add the fresh lime juice to the blender.
  5. Pour in the agave syrup, adjusting the sweetness to your liking.
  6. Add the tequila and orange liqueur.
  7. Toss in the ice cubes and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  8. Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass.
  9. Spread salt or sugar on a small plate and dip the rim of each glass into it.
  10. Give the blender a quick stir to ensure everything is well mixed.
  11. Pour the margarita mix into the prepared glasses, filling them about three-quarters full.
  12. Garnish each margarita with a fresh strawberry and a lime wedge.
  13. Add a sprig of mint or a slice of lime on top for extra flair.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the margaritas by varying the amount of agave syrup.
  • For a thicker margarita, add more ice before blending.
  • These margaritas can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
