- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan.
- Prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the icing over the cooled cookie bars and let set before cutting into squares.
