  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pastry dough on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the dough into squares or rectangles.
  4. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese in the center of each piece of dough.
  5. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
