- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 100 g ham, diced
- 100 g cheese, grated
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pastry dough on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into squares or rectangles.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese in the center of each piece of dough.
- Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
