- 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup Funfetti cake mix
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Rainbow sprinkles, for topping
- Melting chocolate (various colors)
- Miniature marshmallows

Instructions
- Measure out 9 cups of Rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each interval, until completely melted and smooth. Alternatively, melt in a double boiler.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture.
- Stir the Funfetti cake mix into the melted chocolate mixture until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal. Gently fold the cereal into the chocolate mixture until evenly coated.
- In a large resealable bag, combine the powdered sugar.
- Pour the coated cereal into the bag with the powdered sugar. Seal the bag tightly and shake well until the cereal is completely coated.
- Pour the puppy chow onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread in a single layer.
- While the puppy chow is still slightly sticky, sprinkle generously with rainbow sprinkles.
- Allow the puppy chow to set completely at room temperature for about 30 minutes to an hour.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate, scatter with miniature marshmallows, or add birthday candles for presentation.
