  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional: Ranch dressing, for dipping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes. Pat the chicken cubes dry with paper towels.
  2. Set Up Breading Station:
    • Dish 1: Combine flour and half of the Ranch seasoning mix.
    • Dish 2: Whisk together milk and egg.
    • Dish 3: Combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, remaining Ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
  3. Bread the Chicken:
    • Toss chicken in flour mixture, shake off excess.
    • Dip in egg wash, let excess drip off.
    • Dredge in panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
    • Repeat with remaining chicken.
  4. Air Fry the Chicken:
    • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
    • Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray.
    • Arrange chicken in a single layer in the basket (cook in batches if needed).
    • Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until chicken is cooked through and golden brown (internal temperature reaches 165°F/74°C).
